Asan yoga school is a new emerging initiative flourishing under the wisdom and guidance of a vibrant personality YOG NAMITO, a life-long disciple of Shri B.K.S Iyengar. Yog Namito is an ocean of knowledge, who explored the physical and cosmic body in and out through the study of medical science and yogic sadhana guided by various spiritual masters. His teachings are simple and easy to understand, creates enthusiasm amongst the beginner aspirants of yoga. Now his disciples are promoting the esthetic principles learnt from him and making it available to the entire world.
Through the grace of the master Asan yoga’s main objective is to look into this subject as a path to inner self. The practice is to first become aware of your body, then become mindful of your breath and following to which is awareness of the function of your mind and emotions. Behind all these layers of body, the breath – Prana, mind, thoughts, emotions, feelings there is a layer of you that is the center of your being. To reach there one needs to start from Asana. To explore this physical layer Asan Yoga presents a unique blend of two traditional styles of yoga; Ashtanga Yoga and Iyengar Yoga. All the teachers from Asan Yoga are well qualified and certified with Yoga Alliance, have an in-depth knowledge of postural alignment. They have an expertise in making the practice effortless and safe without causing any injuries through the help and use of Iyengar yoga props.
The branches of Asan Yoga have expanded to different locations in India. It covers from beautiful loving coastal areas of Goan beaches to the higher spiritual vibrations attained from the mighty Himalayas in Dharamshala. Just by practicing ashtanga, a substantial amount of unconscious layer wipes out.
